Carole Rogers has been a tireless advocate for the underserved in the Coachella Valley, helping to ensure access to quality healthcare for all. She has championed affordable housing, provided essential healthcare services to the unhoused and migrant worker populations, and been instrumental in improving mental health resources through the Desert Healthcare District & Foundation’s behavioral health initiative.

Ms. Rogers has served on the agency’s board for 10 years and recently was elected to her second term as board president. In September 2024, she was named Trustee of the Year by the Association of California Healthcare Districts.

Ms. Rogers’ 50 years of nursing experience and her deep understanding of the healthcare needs of the Coachella Valley have been invaluable in shaping the healthcare district’s programs and initiatives. Ms. Rogers’ passion, expertise, and dedication to the well-being of the Coachella Valley make her a true healthcare hero and an inspiration to all.
