District Director @ Office of U.S. Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D.
Dr. Frank Ruiz serves as the District Director for California’s 25th Congressional District, collaborating closely with community leaders, stakeholders, and policymakers to tackle complex issues related to healthcare, environmental policy, and economic development.
His work integrates public health, environmental stewardship, and government leadership, demonstrating a strong commitment to building resilient and thriving communities across the state.
Before assuming his current role, Dr. Ruiz directed impactful conservation initiatives as the head of the Salton Sea and California Desert Conservation Programs. He championed environmental sustainability and community engagement around one of California’s most pressing ecological challenges.
He also co-founded “Por la Creación: A Faith-based Alliance” dedicated to educating and mobilizing Latino communities on conservation and policy matters.
In addition to his advocacy work, Dr. Ruiz is a highly accomplished mental health professional with over 15 years of experience providing evidence-based care to under served populations. He served for many years as a pastor in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he promoted spiritual growth, community outreach, and social justice initiatives.
Throughout his various roles, Dr. Ruiz has consistently focused on enhancing community well-being and advocating for policies that ensure equity, sustainability, and opportunities for all.
