Espy Ortiz is the Chief Program Officer at Martha’s Village & Kitchen, where she oversees a comprehensive continuum of programs serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness, as well as underserved and low-income populations throughout the Coachella Valley. She provides executive leadership for housing, homelessness prevention, emergency assistance, healthcare partnerships, workforce development, and other essential community services that improve health and housing outcomes.  

Born and raised in the Coachella Valley, Espy has dedicated her career to building collaborative, person-centered solutions that address the intersection of housing, healthcare, and the social determinants of health. Having advanced through multiple leadership roles within Martha’s Village & Kitchen, she brings both operational expertise and a deep commitment to the community she serves.
