Ian Gabriel
Executive Director @ Lift to Rise
Ian Gabriel is the Executive Director of Lift to Rise, a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing housing affordability and advancing economic mobility across California’s Coachella Valley. Recognizing housing as a foundational driver of community health, Ian leads a regional housing affordability initiative made up of more than 80 partners, including residents, local governments, community organizations, affordable housing developers, and funders whose collective work has grown the region’s affordable housing pipeline to more than 9,700 units.
His and Lift to Rise’s approach centers resident voices and collective impact strategies that address the interconnected challenges of housing stability, economic opportunity, and health outcomes throughout Riverside County. Ian holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California.
