Kaela A. Adams is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Riverside County Office of Education, where she serves as a Behavioral Health Therapist supporting at-risk youth throughout the Coachella Valley. She is passionate about increasing access to school-based mental health services and fostering environments where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Her work centers on supporting the whole child by addressing behavioral health, emotional wellness, and the social-emotional factors that influence student success. Kaela partners closely with students, families, and school staff to reduce barriers to learning, strengthen resilience, and connect students with the resources and supports needed to thrive.
Beyond her work in K–12 education, Kaela is committed to developing the next generation of helping professionals. She serves as an adjunct instructor at California State University, San Bernardino’s Palm Desert Campus, where she teaches psychology courses and mentors future leaders preparing for careers in behavioral health and related fields.
