Kraig Johnson

Executive Director @ Jewish Family Service of the Desert

As Jewish Family Service of the Desert’s Executive Director, Kraig Johnson brings over 20 years of non-profit leadership experience to his current role.  Before joining JFS, he was a Program Director for Stars Behavioral Health Group, focusing on the provision of mental health services for transitional-age youth in Riverside County, and he was the Co-Chair of Riverside County’s TAY Collaborative.  As the past Director of Continuing Education at the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences and separately for the Society of Critical Care Medicine, he has extensive experience in program development, credentialing, and grant funding.  He is currently a Steering Committee member for the Coachella Valley Resource Collective coordinated by the Desert Healthcare District & Foundation, and for the Coachella Valley Resource Collaborative coordinated by Molina Healthcare.  He serves as an adjudicator for the Independent Living Partnership’s TRIP program that offers reimbursement for transportation, an Advisory Board member for Jewish Family Service of San Diego, and he was a Program Committee member for the 2024 Healthy Desert, Healthy You environmental summit.
