Lily Wu, Ph.D.

Lily Wu, Ph.D., is California’s primary Community Air Protection toxicologist and works at California Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA). Her responsibilities include assessing the health benefits of community emissions reduction plans and consideration of cumulative exposures of multiple chemical and non-chemical stressors in addressing communities’ disparate health outcomes. Dr. Wu has extensive work experience and expertise in human health risk assessment, cumulative impacts assessment, exposome, and community engagement. She serves as a technical expert on several academic, community, and federal advisory committees, ranging in topics from health equity, pesticides, and environmental justice science (USEPA SAB EJSARP).  She has also been an invited guest lecturer in many undergraduate classes on natural resources sciences and enjoys mentoring young scientists.
