Prisila Navarro is a high school student and artist from Coachella. She was one of Alianza Coachella Valley’s first youth interns for their Environmental Justice campaign. Prisila wants to create spaces for youth to be heard, listened to, and understood. As both an artist and activist, she uses art to showcase her personal narrative. Prisila has led painting workshops and Salton Sea-inspired art creations to demonstrate how the community’s voices can be artistically represented.
